Quepasa Launches Online Community for Haitian Disaster Relief

Quepasa Corporation (OTCBB: QPSA), owner of Quepasa.com, an online social network targeting the Latino community, today announced the launch of a new feature on the website: an online community dedicated to Haitian relief.
Mr. Abbott noted that Quepasa members in several countries have set up user communities attracting thousands of participants to discuss their concern over the situation in Haiti. Quepasa opted to set up its own community to provide a central resource with direct links to relief organizations.
The launch of this online initiative coincides with Haitian relief efforts undertaken by Dr. Robert Rey, who maintains an online health and beauty community comprising over 40,000 members on Quepasa.com. Dr. Rey, the famed Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and star of the hit reality series Dr. 90210 on the E! Network, is in the process of arranging transport to the places in Haiti where doctors are needed most. He will offer periodic reports on his activities in the country via QTweet, a customized application that allows celebrities to share their Twitter updates with their Quepasa audience and also engage in meaningful dialogue with Quepasa users as they comment on the updates.
