Washington Mutual Bank Takeover

JPMorgan Chase will acquire some assets of Washington Mutual following the takeover of the sixth biggest US bank by US banking regulators.
Officials took control of WaMu after its shares lost nearly a quarter of their value. Washington Mutual’s share price fell 57 cents to $1.69. Washington Mutual’s market value had fallen to about $2.9billion about 15 per cent of its equity of $18.8billion
