British Energy Nuclear Power Sell Off

Rothschild, the French M&A firm advising on the sale of British Energy, has set a May 9 date for bidders to submit offers for the nuclear-power-plant operator, people familiar with the matter tell Deal Journal, confirming a report today in the U.K.’s Telegraph newspaper. Another person cautioned that there already have been a number of deadlines for bids and that this might not end up being the last.
