Published October 18th, 2007

Saudi Arabia received the most foreign direct investment of any country in the Arab world in 2006, attracting $18bn, an increase of 51% over 2005, reported Arab News citing a study by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. The study attributed the increase to the region's strong economic growth, the kingdom's improved business climate, and high oil prices. [AMEInfo.com]
