Bahraini money supply grows

Bahrain's money supply grew at its second fastest rate in six years in August, with M3, the broadest money supply measure, increasing by 30% to reach $15.4bn, when compared with $12.1bn at the same point last year, reported Reuters quoting central bank statistics. In the five months to the end of August, Bahrain's money supply has grown at a rate of 26.7%, as opposed to 17.4% in 2006. [AMEInfo.com]
