Dow soars, FTSE ends higher

U.S. stocks jumped the most in four years on Tuesday after the Federal Reserve cut interest rates. The Dow was up 335.97 points, or 2.51%, to finish on 13,739. Meanwhile, the UK's FTSE 100 index also finished higher, up 100.50 points, or 1.63%, to end the day on 6,283, [AMEInfo.com]
