Apple Computer to join S&P 100
Thursday, May 31st, 2007Standard & Poor’s on Wednesday announced that Apple Inc. will join its prestigious S&P 100 index of big blue-chip companies.
The consumer electronics maker will replace MedImmune Inc., a biotechnology company being acquired by Anglo-Swedish group AstraZeneca Plc.
