Apple Computer to join S&P 100

Standard & Poor’s on Wednesday announced that Apple Inc. will join its prestigious S&P 100 index of big blue-chip companies.

The Bank of Italy said its auction of seven-year treasury certificates (CCTs) was 79.34 pct oversubscribed, while the yield was up from the previous auction.
