RBI auctions 364-day T-bills

RBI today conducted an auction to sell 364 day-T-bills for Rs 20 billion, out of which Rs 10 billion was market stabilization scheme (MSS) amount.

At a multiple price-based auction, RBI received 118 bids worth Rs 105.11 billion for the bills. 20 competitive bids worth Rs 20 billion were accepted . Out of this accepted amount, a sum of Rs 10 billion was the (MSS) amount.

The cut-off price determined at Rs 92.63, offered a ytm (yield to maturity) of 7.97%. The weighted average price worked out to Rs 92.67
